Archaeological museum

The Archaeological Museum of Kimolos is located in Chorio, opposite the Cathedral of “Panagia OdIgitria”.

The  Museum has been housed in a traditional two-storey building, since 2006.

On the first floor visitors can see exhibits and film screening concerning the ancient history of Kimolos, starting from the Late Neolithic era , as well as an impressive representation of an ancient burial , as it was found during the excavation, under a transparent floor .
