Kimolos – Psathi
“Kaniski”
Folk art – Gifts – Souvenirs
A long time ago in Psathi, next to the ferry harbor and among the «sirmata», which were used by local fishermen to store their boats, there was a carved cave which was used as a “refrigerator” for the ice they needed. Today, in the exact same place with the heavy doors and the short ceiling, you can find «Kaniski».
In the Kimolian dialect “Kaniski” means “wedding gift”.
In «Kaniski» you can find a wide range of gifts for your beloved ones, as well as souvenirs, such as:
- Handmade ceramics, in traditional and contemporary forms.
- Paintings inspired by the Aegean Sea and its ships.
- Woolen bags, t-shirts and pareos all painted in hand.
- Old, metallic, painted taps.
- Wooden, clay and metallic small ships.
- Souvenirs inspired by “Skiadi”.
- Postcards and magnets with various island themes.
- Maps and small souvenirs.
- «IONIA» Porcelain.
- «Biz Art» jewellery.
