\u201cTo melaki\u201d<\/strong> (honey) is a 500 beehives\u2019<\/strong> contemporary apiary located at St. Fotini, and Froudia Kimolos island.<\/p>\n

A\u00a0sweet<\/strong>\u00a0childhood\u00a0story<\/strong>\u00a0lies behind its simple name: as a kid,\u00a0Kostas<\/strong>\u00a0loved bees. When he grew up, he studied beekeeping at the, well known,\u00a0American Farm School in Thessaloniki<\/strong>. When Kostas met his future wife,\u00a0Lena<\/strong>, he transferred his passion about bees to her and today, their daughter,\u00a0Irene<\/strong>, is following her dad\u2019s steps.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo melaki\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0produces honey that features all of nature\u2019s\u00a0rich scents<\/strong>: lavender, heather, rockrose,<\/u> ladania, chamomile, thyme, along with many other herbs contribute their therapeutic properties to its unique taste.<\/p>\n

Apart from honey, the apiary also\u00a0produces<\/strong>\u00a0pollen, beeswax, <\/u>beeswax cream, royal jelly and propolis.<\/p>\n

All products can be purchased at \u201cTo melaki\u00a0<\/strong>store\u201d,\u00a0<\/strong>Parathiria area, Chorio, Kimolos.<\/p>\n

You can also order top quality sesame seed candy (pasteli<\/strong>) and honey in small packages, to offer as a\u00a0treat<\/strong>\u00a0or in\u00a0social occasions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
