Growing up<\/strong>\u00a0in a honey producers\u2019 family increases the chances that you\u2019ll follow the same path. That\u2019s how Xenofon (Fontas<\/strong>) Moustakas started an experimental \u201cswarm\u201d, in 1995, out of curiosity.
\nWhat followed <\/strong>was pretty much expected: aided by his uncle and his mother, Maria, he managed to turn his admiration for this awesome insect, into love, which later turned into knowledge and respect.
\nIn 2020, Fontas\u2019 son Petros takes over the business, names their honey \u201cKIMOMELO\u201d<\/strong> while at the same time, adds some more goods of own produce like caper and samphire.<\/p>\n

\u221a<\/strong> \u201cKIMOMELO\u201d<\/strong> is the product of 80 beehives<\/strong> in Kafkares, a nice area, ideal for growing up<\/strong> bees, in the inner part of Kimolos. Kafkares is an area full of herbs<\/strong> and wildflowers<\/strong>, such as mint, rosemary, lavender, chamomile, sorrel, pink rockrose, mallow, caper, common sage, etc. These herbs, with their valuable ingredients, provide his blossom honey<\/strong> with a rich aroma, a golden texture and an expected, sweet taste.<\/p>\n
