\u201cArzantiera\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 the name pirates and European sailors gave to Kimolos during the Venician occupation, charmed by its silver rocks appearing as they sailed near its harbor.
\n\u201cArzantiera\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 the name of two elegant shops, one across the other, in Agora Street, close to the Castle\u2019s Kato Porta.<\/p>\n

\u201cArzantiera\u201d\u00a0Art<\/strong>\u00a0Gallery<\/strong>\u00a0is housed in a renovated building in Kastro (castle<\/strong>), near its Kato Porta (southern entrance), at\u00a0Chorio, Kimolos<\/strong>.
\nThe steady, stone walls hold a wide collection of\u00a0handmade<\/strong>\u00a0creations: jewelry, painting, decorative objects, accessories, pottery and art crafts of some well known artists.<\/p>\n

\u201cArzantiera\u201d\u00a0Boutique<\/strong>\u00a0is based on the old\u00a0Agora<\/strong>\u00a0(Greek for market) building, which, for 70 years, was home to the oldest groceries\u2019 store of the island. Following a careful renovation, with respect to its unique character and the island\u2019s minimalistic style, the building is now one of the most beautiful ones in Agora.
\nIt has a collection<\/strong>\u00a0of well-known, trusted brands, as well as quality creations from Greek artists, and aims at providing unique, summery looks with an Aegean \u201caura\u201d, at reasonable prices<\/p>\n

In \u201cArzantiera\u201d you will also find\u00a0the traditional<\/strong>\u00a0children game of Kimolos, the little\u00a0tin boat<\/strong>, which relieves Kimolos\u2019 tradition in a unique, spectacular way.<\/p>\n

\nShe paints island landscape on\u00a0old, wooden<\/strong>\u00a0doors and shutters and portraits on old boards. She also makes youthful jewels and lovely decorative objects.
