Greece, Aegean sea, Cyclades, Kimolos<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Kimolos<\/strong>\u00a0is a nice island of the Western Cyclades,\u00a038 square kilometers<\/strong>\u00a0in extent, pentagonal shape and its higher peak climbs up to\u00a0364 meters<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The coastline stretches for\u00a040 km<\/strong>, forming many, sandy bays and dreamy, rocky coasts.Kimolos is well known for the clear, blue sea, the amazing, full of life sea bottom, the quiet, golden bays and its traditional Cycladic architecture. Nearby there are some islets. The biggest one,\u00a0Poliegos<\/a>, 18 sq. km in extent, claims to be the island with the best conservation of the natural environment in the Aegean Sea. For this it is part of the European Program \u201cNatura 2000\u201d. Kimolos has\u00a0750<\/strong>\u00a0inhabitants. Most of them live in the main settlement, \u201cChorio<\/strong>\u201d. Smaller settlements include Psathi (the port), Prassa, Aliki, Goupa and Karas.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”25px”][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Kimolos: Connection to Piraeus, Syros, Milos and other islands.<\/h4>\n

Kimolos is\u00a086 naut. miles<\/strong>\u00a0far from\u00a0Piraeus<\/a> Port<\/strong>\u00a0and is connected to it four or five days a week by conventional or high speed ferries.
\nOne can also reach Kimolos from\u00a0other cycladic islands<\/strong>, two or three days a week.
