White, coarse sand in and out of the sea, turquoise sea, loved by many. There are some sea caves under the church of St. George (Agios Georgios), where the monk seals breed in the autumn. Around the islet Prassonissi, the sea bottom is shelter to many kinds of fishes, sea urchins and corals.
Close to the Chorio, one next to the other. Rema looks like a natural swimming pool, with a nice scenery: “sirmata”, caves carved in the mild rock to keep the boats. Rocks shape natural caves, bridges and a big sitting elephant. Pebbles. Sandy sea bottom at the depth of 1m and more. Goupa is a fishermen’s settlement with sirmata. Some of them are also used as houses.
